How to Subscribe

Step 1: Browse Listings

Visit the Dataplex provider page on Snowflake Marketplace.

Step 2: Select a Product

Click on the data product you want to access. Review the listing details including:

• Data coverage and update frequency

• Sample queries and schema documentation

• Pricing and subscription terms

Step 3: Get the Data

Click Get on the listing page. Snowflake will:

1. Create a shared database in your account

2. Set up access permissions

3. Make the data immediately queryable

Permissions required: You need ACCOUNTADMIN or IMPORT SHARE privileges to subscribe to Marketplace listings. Contact your Snowflake administrator if you don't have access.

Step 4: Start Querying

Once subscribed, the data appears as a shared database in your Snowflake account. Query it like any other database:

Free Trials

Some listings offer free trial access directly through Snowflake Marketplace. Look for the Try for Free option on listing pages.

For products without Marketplace trials, you can request a trial through our Databricks trial portal instead.

Billing & Management

Snowflake Marketplace handles all subscription billing:

• Payment: Charges appear on your Snowflake invoice

• Management: View and manage subscriptions in Snowflake's Data → Marketplace → Your Purchases

• Cancellation: Cancel anytime through the Marketplace interface
